What a great story! One of the best I have read on Patch.com. Only regret, not being able to lend aRead More helping hand. I hope to remember to attend the ceremonies in September. Residents should see signs about this event about town rather than the political signs so commonly seen and disregarded. I am putting this date on my calendar so I won't miss it! Sounds like such a wonderful thing to do, in all aspects, from preparations to the ceremony. Thank you to all who are involved in this ceremony.

I signed up as soon as I read this story. I have been listed as an organ donor with the DMVRead More forever. I ride a motorcycle and am aware of the inherant risks. As a result, they say that motorcycle riders can make some of the best donors. Hopefully, if something happens to me some day, I can be parted out and have my parts made useful again. It is the finest form of recycling on the planet. I encourage anyone reading this to do the same - make a difference...
