The Linda's Storytime Race4Chase Kids' Fun Run should be an amazing part of the Sprint event on JuneRead More 2. Visit the website at sprintformonroe.weebly.com to register online or print out a registration form to be mailed in.

What a great story! One of the best I have read on Patch.com. Only regret, not being able to lend aRead More helping hand. I hope to remember to attend the ceremonies in September. Residents should see signs about this event about town rather than the political signs so commonly seen and disregarded. I am putting this date on my calendar so I won't miss it! Sounds like such a wonderful thing to do, in all aspects, from preparations to the ceremony. Thank you to all who are involved in this ceremony.

I will be away when this event takes place. Will there be a map or some sort of brochure that willRead More be available so that those who can't attend can take a walk through another time. I think this is a wonderful project. Thank you! On another note: I see lots of the Historical signs around town, but I find it hard to stop and read them... and I do want to. Most are far enough off the road that the car would need to be parked somewhere in order to get close enough. One on Hattertown Road is on a curve. Is there anyway a pull off area could be added so one could safely stop. The one on Purdy Hill/Old Newtown is hard to get to as well. Thanks for your consideration.

I signed up as soon as I read this story. I have been listed as an organ donor with the DMVRead More forever. I ride a motorcycle and am aware of the inherant risks. As a result, they say that motorcycle riders can make some of the best donors. Hopefully, if something happens to me some day, I can be parted out and have my parts made useful again. It is the finest form of recycling on the planet. I encourage anyone reading this to do the same - make a difference...
