IN LA two common hashtags that were popping up on local social media ahead of the president'sRead More arrival were #Obamatraffic and #ThanksObama. Twitter user JonathanDanielBrown had a cynical take on the president’s visit, tweeting: “President Obama's here for two $32,500 a plate dinners, so try not to drive because traffic will be bad for the rest of us poors.”

Unfortunately the owner is choosing to not to comment. Her stance from what they stated on radio theRead More other morning is she does not want to make this a big deal. But the people who go there every morning as well said this woman goes in and does not say anything to her kid and he runs amok annoying the other patrons. Although the mother is claiming this to be an isolated incident, other patrons paint a much bigger picture and the owner finally got fed up.

My guess is there is more than one side to this story. Perhaps the toddler has a history of actingRead More up or being disruptive. We don't know. Moms are often in denial about their children’s bad behavior. That being said, my daughter at about 3 once said "Mommy, that lady is really fat" loudly in the grocery store. I quickly told her not to say that. She answered me with “but she is Fat". I was horrified of course, but kids are honest. She was a big lady.

Jacob's Mama: "It's not like those pictures you see on the internet labeled "People ofRead More walmart"...I have NEVER seen someone dressed like that at Walmart." Seriously, you say you frequent Walmart. Have you ever actually been in the Shelton or Stratford stores? Either you are not being honest, or you shop with your eyes closed. Because as infrequently as I patronize them, I have yet to be in either of those local Walmarts without blatant examples of the trash, depicted in those pictures, walking around in abundance. And you just wait. The Monroe Walmart will be beautiful and clean for about 3 months. Then it will become like the pig-sty that they all end up being, because its clientele will trash the place. And really, as an aside.....you have "SEVERAL" degrees?

Kara, the headline reads "Organic Fruit Sold Locally Recalled for Possible ListeriaRead More Contamination". It's clearly sensationalizing the two organic products.
Suzanne jefferis July 24, 2014 at 01:12 pm
The article should read 'Fruit Sold Locally'... It is misleading to the unaware who read no fartherRead More to suggest that organic fruit is the problem. All fruit, organic or those sprayed with unsafe pesticides should be washed. If gene spliced with herbicides and toxic pathogens as with GMO fruit, it is no longer a product of nature.

Yes, run away boys! Thomas, I should have added that I don't dispute the information that youRead More quoted. I read it too and I have seen that info before. My point was just that that was not the new CDC study that you and your cohorts seem to think it is. It's just more false info being thrown around. And who am I Tom? Exactly what my handle says, a mom of two who is sick of this gun culture and wants to see what can be done to change it. That doesn't mean banning or confiscating all guns. It means enforcing the laws we have, strengthening the mental health system, background checks on every purchase no matter where you buy it from, stop glamorizing guns and gun violence in movies, tv and video games and yes I am for the assault weapons ban and limiting high magazine clips because I don't believe they are necessary for responsible gun owners to do what they need to do with them. The less guns and bullets in the world the better. I know you disagree, that's ok. Peace.

Hi everyone here. What Christine Coleman said is very true though i may not know her. I experiencedRead More it first hand also. It was this organization called consumer loan firm (C.L.f)that really helped me to pay my medical bills when i was in dare need of money because i am a widow. A friend of my also directed me to them. when i was about to do a major operation and i had no money at that time, they came to my rescue and in less than 48 hours, i got my loan. But to say the truth, i was nervous and scared at first because i have been scammed twice. But when i summoned up courage and follow their lending policies along with my friends advice, at the end i found myself smiling. If not for them, maybe i would have been dead by now. I have even taken another loan from them start my business after my recovery which i am also paying back now. My only advice now is that any body who is really in need of loan should contact them with their email via: consumerloanfirm@gmail.com and get a loan from them. Thanks
This guy deserves his bad reputation.
