The town bought the first half of what is now William E. Wolfe Park in 1967 and developed it with federal, state andMore local funds.</p> <p>It has grown significantly over the years to include a pool, basketball and tennis courts, a football field, several baseball diamonds and soccer fields, playgrounds and picnic areas.</p> <p>One part of the park is dedicated to concerts and Great Hollow Lake offers a beach experience, with fishing, row boating and hiking and biking trails.</p> <p>This summer Wolfe Park celebrated the opening of a brand new pool, which replaced the old one on the Cutlers Farm Road side of the park.</p>

Dickinson Memorial Park is a public park with two entrances. The first entrance is on the right, past the cemetery andMore baseball fields; the second entrance is on Brushy Hill Road. The park features five tennis courts, a softball field, a basketball court, two playgrounds, a "funspace" creative area, a pavilion, a picnic area with grills and a skating park. The pavilion area can be rented for private events; check the website for pricing. All children under the age of 12 must be supervised by an adult.
