A gazebo adorns the grounds in…More the front.</p> <p>Municipal departments carry out town business during the day, and meetings of town boards and commissions are held in the Town Council Chambers and conference room on week nights.</p> <p>The First Selectman's Office is located at Town Hall, along with the Town Clerk, Tax Collector, Assessor, Registrar of Voters and Fire Marshals' offices.</p> <p>Departments in the facility include Building, Finance, Planning & Zoning, Inland Wetland, Parks & Recreation, Information Technology, Public Works, Engineering and Human Resources.</p> <p>The Monroe Police Department, which shares the building, takes up the lower level in the back of the property.</p>
