Monroe Man Arrested for Shoplifting in Newtown

He is currently incarcerated in Bridgeport.

On July 4 at 2 p.m., William Lee, 40, of Field Rock Road in Monroe was transported by Newtown Police to the Bridgeport Correctional Institute where he was subject to charges from an outstanding warrant for three counts of shoplifting.

After William was read his Miranda Rights, he was fingerprinted and had a mugshot taken. William was placed in a cell after his arrest was processed, where he was being held on $15,000 bond.
